Banter Media is awesome. Seriously. You guys don't know how many promo/management/etc. companies send me bands every day and make me think, "These guys just don't get it." Banter does. Everything they send me sounds fresh, inventive, interesting, and real.
Anyway...they sent me over some stuff by this dude going by the pseudonym Pregnant. They described him as a "hillbilly savant" which at first made me a little wary but then they said he uses all kinds of pedals and loops and cool stuff so I was sold. It's folktronic; pretty experimental, at times really beautiful.
